You have a strong background in quantitative analysis and finance, with experience in designing and developing pricing and analytics tools for investment professionals. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to implement real-time pricing engines and historical pricing frameworks effectively. You understand the intricacies of market and trading data, and you are skilled in developing analytics for historical curve construction and relative value analysis.
You are adept at building large-scale derived macro datasets for trading analytics, ensuring consistency, performance, and reusability across workflows. Your experience with scenario analysis frameworks enables investment professionals to define shocks and assess their impacts on trading strategies. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute innovative ideas to enhance the firm's technology capabilities.
What you'll do
As a Quantitative Strategist at Point72, you will design and develop pre-trade pricing and analytics tools that support Rates and FX products. You will implement real-time pricing engines and historical pricing frameworks using market and trading data, which are crucial for informed investment decisions. Your role will involve developing analytics for historical curve construction, curve evolution, and relative value analysis, providing insights that drive smarter decision-making.
You will also be responsible for designing, generating, and maintaining large-scale derived macro datasets for trading analytics, ensuring that these datasets are consistent, performant, and reusable across various workflows. Additionally, you will build scenario analysis frameworks that allow investment professionals to define shocks and evaluate their effects on trading strategies. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing how Point72 builds and operates its platforms and applications.
What we offer
Point72 offers a competitive annual base salary range of $300,000-$350,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package.
