Job Description
Who you are
You have a PhD or 2 years of professional experience in a quantitative discipline such as econometrics, mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer science. Your programming skills in Python (or a comparable language) are strong, and you possess a working knowledge of SQL. You are fluent in data science practices, including feature engineering, and have a keen interest in machine learning, which is a plus. You are highly motivated, curious, and a critical thinker, willing to take ownership of your work while being able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
What you'll do
As an Entry-Level Quantitative Researcher, you will conduct original research in quantitative portfolio management, managing all aspects of the research process from idea generation to data analysis, hypothesis testing, and implementation. You will follow, digest, and analyze the latest academic research to inform your work. Additionally, you will build analytical tools to supplement our shared research framework, contributing to the monetization of quantitative trading strategies and exploring state-of-the-art portfolio construction techniques.
