Who you are
You are a Ph.D. candidate in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or another quantitative discipline. You possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, demonstrating a detail-oriented approach to research. Your programming skills in Python, R, or C++ are complemented by experience with SQL, allowing you to handle data effectively. You have a solid research background in your field and a demonstrated ability to learn and apply new methodologies to real-life problems. You thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team, taking ownership of your work and delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide research assistance to full-time researchers, helping to collect and analyze data. You will follow, digest, and analyze the latest academic research, contributing original ideas to enhance our understanding of market anomalies. Your work will directly support the investment decisions made by the team, making your contributions vital to our systematic trading strategies. You will engage with a wide range of publicly available data sources, applying your quantitative skills to derive insights that drive our research efforts.
