What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at Point72, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining front-end user interfaces that enhance the user experience. You will leverage modern web technologies, including TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Angular and React, to build intuitive applications. Additionally, you will extend and develop microservices using Node.js or C#, ensuring that they are robust and scalable.

Your role will involve providing data to these microservices from various data sources, including SQL, MongoDB, and Databricks, which will be crucial for the functionality of the applications you develop. You will also play a key role in building and enhancing platform-level AI capabilities by integrating and extending existing tools and agents.

Collaboration is at the heart of what you do; you will work closely with UX designers to ensure that the user interfaces are not only functional but also user-friendly. You will partner with product managers to align on project goals and deliverables, and you will collaborate with platform engineers to ensure seamless integration of various components. Your responsibilities will also include troubleshooting issues, performing code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards, which will help maintain the quality of the codebase.
