What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Research Tools team, you will build and maintain full-stack applications that support the research efforts at Anthropic. You will collaborate closely with researchers to understand their needs and develop solutions that enable them to iterate quickly and run complex experiments. Your work will involve creating human feedback interfaces for model evaluation, developing platforms for experiment orchestration, and designing visualization tools to help researchers understand model behavior. You will be responsible for ensuring that the tools you create are reliable, interpretable, and steerable, aligning with Anthropic's mission to build safe and beneficial AI systems.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the overall engineering culture at Anthropic, sharing your insights and best practices with your peers.
