Overview
PostHog is hiring a Developer Marketer to help increase the number of successful products globally. You'll work with SQL and ETL concepts to drive product adoption and engagement. This role is fully remote and requires strong writing and communication skills.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in marketing with a focus on developer engagement — your experience includes crafting compelling narratives that resonate with technical audiences. You possess excellent writing, researching, and communication skills, enabling you to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively. Familiarity with ETL concepts is essential, as you will be working with data to inform marketing strategies. The more engineering experience you have, the better, as it will help you connect with developers and understand their needs. Experience working at a dev tool company is a plus, as it gives you insight into the challenges developers face.
What you'll do
In this role, you will help PostHog increase the number of successful products in the world by driving user engagement and product adoption. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop strategies that resonate with developers and product teams. Your responsibilities will include creating content that showcases the value of PostHog's products, conducting research to understand market needs, and leveraging data to optimize marketing efforts. You will also engage with the developer community to gather feedback and insights that will inform product development and marketing strategies.
