You have a strong background in backend engineering, with experience in building and maintaining scalable systems. Your expertise in Node.js or Golang allows you to develop robust backend services that support mission-critical applications. You understand the importance of low latency and high availability in cloud environments, and you are comfortable working with Kubernetes to manage containerized applications.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges, and you are always looking for ways to optimize performance and improve system reliability. You are passionate about APIs and understand their role in modern software development.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools. You may have worked on projects that involve API design and implementation, giving you a solid understanding of best practices in this area.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and operating backend services that power Postman Flows. You will work on optimizing the Flows runtime system to ensure it meets the demands of users worldwide. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and scalability of the platform, enabling teams to collaborate effectively on API development.
You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features that enhance the user experience. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality. You will also monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring that the services remain reliable and efficient.
