What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Prodigal, you will play a key role in developing the Prodigal Intelligence Engine (PIE), which powers our AI Agents for loan servicing and collections. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to design and implement features that enhance the capabilities of our AI applications. Your work will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

You will be responsible for architecting solutions that are scalable and efficient, leveraging your expertise in Java and machine learning. You will also engage in troubleshooting and debugging to resolve issues that arise during development and production. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our AI initiatives and help shape the future of consumer finance.

In addition to coding, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers. You will participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and collaborate on problem-solving strategies.
