You have 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, focusing on CI/CD and infrastructure management — you've designed and implemented continuous delivery pipelines that enhance developer productivity and system reliability. Your expertise in Kubernetes is complemented by a strong understanding of GitOps workflows, allowing you to streamline deployment processes effectively.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional partners — your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly helps bridge the gap between development and operations. You thrive in environments where you can advocate for tooling that improves engineering velocity and system stability, ensuring that developers can ship high-quality code efficiently.

Your experience with ArgoCD and Kubernetes orchestration positions you as a domain expert — you understand the complexities of microservices architecture and are adept at simplifying infrastructure challenges for your team. Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and evolve the continuous delivery pipelines that power Earnin's microservices — your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our deployment processes. You will collaborate with developers to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring that the infrastructure you create simplifies their workflows.

You will take the lead on implementing GitOps practices, advocating for best practices in deployment and infrastructure management — your contributions will help shape the technical strategy of the team. You will also be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the Kubernetes-based infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the demands of our growing applications.

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of CI/CD practices and Kubernetes — your guidance will help foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will participate in design reviews and contribute to architectural discussions, ensuring that the solutions we implement are scalable and maintainable.
