Pulselive is hiring an Android Engineer to develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for global sports fans. You'll work with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and REST APIs to create engaging user experiences. This role requires commercial experience in Android development.

Who you are
You have commercial experience in Android development and are eager to grow your technical skills while tackling exciting challenges. Your expertise in Kotlin and modern frameworks like Jetpack Compose allows you to create engaging native mobile experiences that resonate with millions of sports fans. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers, designers, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality features from concept to release. Your commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code is evident in your use of tools like JUnit and Espresso. You are familiar with integrating complex RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance app functionality. Your experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitrise and Jenkins ensures reliable and smooth app delivery.
Desirable
A passion for sports or experience working on apps with large-scale user engagement would be a great addition to your profile. Knowledge of SonarQube or other code quality tools is also a plus.
What you'll do
As an Android Engineer at Pulselive, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Android applications that serve millions of users. You will collaborate with a diverse team to deliver high-quality features, ensuring that every aspect of the app meets the highest standards. Your role will involve integrating APIs and third-party services to create seamless app experiences that engage users. You will participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and regular stand-ups to maintain a smooth workflow and foster collaboration within the team. Additionally, you will enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable app delivery and coordinate with backend, iOS, and frontend engineers to ensure consistency across platforms.
