Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field, with a strong background in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system reliability. You are proficient in AWS services and have a solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code practices, which you have applied in previous roles to automate processes and eliminate manual toil.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can analyze complex systems to identify areas for improvement. Your experience includes working with monitoring and observability tools, allowing you to enhance system performance and reliability effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product development teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.

You are passionate about continuous improvement and have a track record of implementing best practices in system reliability and performance. Your communication skills enable you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within your team.

Desirable

Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. You may also have experience in incident management and response, ensuring that systems remain operational and resilient under various conditions.

What you'll do

In your role as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at QGenda, you will collaborate with the Infrastructure and Product Development Teams to design and operate highly available services on AWS. You will lead efforts to automate infrastructure management and implement infrastructure-as-code practices, significantly reducing manual intervention and enhancing operational efficiency.

You will evaluate and introduce new AWS services and tooling that improve system reliability, performance, and developer velocity. Your responsibilities will include shaping the reliability roadmap and making a measurable impact on the resilience and evolution of our technology stack.

You will also be involved in monitoring system performance, analyzing metrics, logs, and traces to identify potential issues before they impact users. By fostering a culture of observability, you will help ensure that the systems are not only reliable but also scalable to meet the growing demands of our healthcare clients.
