Who you are
You are an experienced software engineer with a strong proficiency in C++ and a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles. You have a track record of delivering software products throughout the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to prototyping and final delivery. Your experience includes working with low-latency systems and you are familiar with the challenges of high-throughput applications. You possess brilliant problem-solving abilities and a passion for new technologies, which drives you to innovate and deliver effective solutions.
You have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, which allows you to optimize your code for performance. Your exposure to network programming, particularly TCP/IP, and concurrent programming with multi-threaded applications, equips you to handle complex software challenges. You are comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments and have experience with GDB for debugging. Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Desirable
While financial markets experience is optional, it is a plus if you have worked in environments that require quick decision-making and adaptability. You are eager to learn and grow within a technology-driven firm, contributing to a team that values innovation and excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing proprietary software that includes low-latency high-throughput exchange connectivity layers.
