You have experience in maintaining and operating electrical and mechanical systems within a data center environment — you understand the importance of reliability and uptime for mission-critical servers. Your attention to detail ensures that facility appearance and integrity are always upheld, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

You are familiar with life safety and monitoring equipment, and you know how to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime. Your proactive approach to maintenance helps prevent problems before they arise, ensuring that all systems function optimally.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, life safety, and monitoring equipment within the data center. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the facility.

You will maintain the facility's appearance and integrity, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected by customers and stakeholders. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, as you strive to maintain 100% uptime for all critical systems.

You will be expected to work the 2nd shift from Monday to Wednesday, from 1 PM to 11 PM, allowing you to focus on maintenance tasks during off-peak hours. Your role is crucial in supporting the mission of Rackspace to provide reliable and efficient data center services.
