You have experience in maintaining and operating electrical and mechanical systems within a data center environment — your expertise ensures that mission-critical servers remain operational and that customer uptime is prioritized. You understand the importance of life safety and monitoring equipment, and you take pride in maintaining the facility's appearance and integrity. You are proactive in identifying potential issues before they escalate — your ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly is essential in maintaining the high standards expected in a data center. You thrive in an on-site role where you can directly oversee the operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring that all systems function optimally.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, life safety, and monitoring equipment within the data center. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing any issues that arise to maintain 100% customer uptime.
You will also be tasked with maintaining the facility's appearance and integrity, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected by both the company and its customers. Your role will require you to be hands-on, working directly with the equipment and systems that support the data center's operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and upgrades as necessary, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the facility.
