What you'll do

As a Platform Project Engineer at Rackspace, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end technical implementation across customer projects. You will act as the primary technical contact throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all work aligns with strict sovereign and security standards. Your role will involve carrying out design, configuration, deployment, testing, and validation activities to meet customer needs effectively.

You will collaborate with project managers to define project scopes and timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met on schedule. Your expertise in cloud technologies will be crucial as you work to design and implement secure cloud solutions tailored to customer requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining proactive communication with customers, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.

In addition to technical implementation, you will produce high-quality technical documentation that outlines project specifications and processes. Running customer workshops and knowledge-transfer sessions will be part of your responsibilities, helping to ensure that customers are equipped to utilize the solutions you implement effectively.

You will identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery practices, contributing to the overall success of the Sovereign Cloud delivery team. Your ability to manage risks and ensure seamless integration with the wider platform will be essential in achieving project goals.
