You have extensive experience in network engineering, particularly in planning, designing, and configuring local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN). What you'll do
As a Senior Network Engineer at Rackspace, you will be responsible for the planning and design of our growing network infrastructure. You will lead the configuration and installation of both LAN and WAN systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our internal customers.
You will provide technical support and documentation to various departments, acting as a liaison to gather network requirements and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned. Your role will involve additional travel to satellite locations in Tacoma and Olympia, where you will oversee network installations and configurations.
You will also be expected to stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices, continuously improving our network infrastructure to enhance performance and reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our global operations.
