Who you are

You have a strong background in designing scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on Microsoft Azure, ideally with relevant Azure certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer. Your experience includes leading cloud readiness assessments and application modernization planning, ensuring that solutions align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework. You are well-versed in Azure networking foundations and have a deep understanding of hybrid connectivity options like VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute. Your expertise extends to network security and segmentation using Azure Firewall and NSGs, and you are familiar with best practices and limitations of network infrastructure.

You have experience architecting complex Azure networking solutions, focusing on cross-tenant connectivity and multi-subscription designs. Your knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AD) Premium features allows you to implement advanced security and identity governance measures. You are comfortable guiding DevOps strategies and CI/CD implementations using tools like GitHub Actions, and you can develop high-level and low-level architecture designs covering compute, storage, networking, identity, backup/DR, and monitoring.

Desirable

Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and familiarity with collaborative tools such as JIRA and Confluence is a plus. Having worked in core banking or other regulated domains will give you an edge in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will lead cloud readiness assessments and application modernization planning, ensuring that all solutions are aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework. You will develop high-level and low-level architecture designs that encompass compute, storage, networking, identity, backup/DR, and monitoring.

You will architect complex Azure networking solutions, focusing on hybrid connectivity, network security, and segmentation. Your role will involve driving architecture discussions around scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, compliance, and performance. You will also lead the implementation of advanced Azure Active Directory features, ensuring security and identity governance.

As part of your responsibilities, you will architect and provision Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, configuring node pools and integrating them with other Azure services. You will provide end-to-end system design for critical platforms, including core banking systems, and guide the DevOps strategy and CI/CD implementations.

You will develop and present Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and migration cost estimations to stakeholders, serving as the single point of contact for all assigned capabilities in a cross-functional and client-facing environment.
