Who you are

You have over 10 years of experience as a hands-on Solutions Architect and/or Data Engineer, designing and implementing data solutions that meet complex business needs. Your background includes leading teams and mentoring other engineers, ensuring that you can guide others while delivering high-quality results. You have a proven ability to develop end-to-end technical solutions that are production-ready, focusing on performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration. Your programming expertise spans Java, Python, and/or Scala, allowing you to tackle a variety of technical challenges with confidence.

You are well-versed in core cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, Spark, AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GCP. Your SQL skills are strong, enabling you to write, debug, and optimize queries effectively. You possess excellent client-facing communication skills, both written and verbal, which help you articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in a remote-first environment and are excited about the opportunity to work with a diverse team across different regions.

Desirable

Experience with Fivetran, Pinecone, Glean, and dbt is a plus, as these tools are integral to the solutions we provide. Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join phData's team to help global enterprises overcome their toughest data challenges. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative data solutions that leverage modern data stack technologies. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you develop meet the needs of our clients and are scalable for future growth.

You will lead technical discussions and workshops with clients, helping them understand the value of our solutions and guiding them through the implementation process. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that the solutions are not only effective but also align with best practices in data management and integration.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and methodologies, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry.
