Who you are
You have experience as an Embedded Engineer, ideally in developing consumer electronics from prototype to mass production. Your hands-on approach allows you to thrive in environments where you can contribute to both architecture and execution of hardware products. You are passionate about creating tools that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of construction professionals. Your portfolio showcases your ability to innovate and disrupt traditional methods in the industry.
You possess strong skills in programming languages such as C and C++, and have experience with Embedded Linux and Arduino platforms. You are comfortable collaborating with engineering teams to develop new hardware prototypes and are eager to take on leadership responsibilities in your projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards ensure that the products you help create are exceptional.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join REEKON Tools to build out the embedded code base for a variety of innovative hardware products. You will work closely with the engineering team to develop prototypes that meet the needs of construction and home improvement professionals. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, and testing embedded systems, as well as collaborating on product development from early R&D stages to mass production.
You will play a key role in ensuring that the products are not only functional but also user-friendly and reliable. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of tools used by professionals in the field. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your expertise in embedded systems design and development.
