Who you are

You have a strong background in embedded systems engineering, with experience in firmware development across various platforms including Linux-based, RTOS-based, and bare-metal MCUs. Your expertise in C and C++ allows you to architect, design, implement, and test embedded software effectively. You have successfully shipped a wearable consumer product from prototyping to product development, demonstrating your ability to coordinate with distributed teams and debug custom embedded systems.

You are comfortable working in rapidly changing hardware environments and have a keen understanding of hardware design, part selection, interface definition, and driver development. Your experience in defining and improving firmware development workflows showcases your commitment to efficiency and quality in your work. You thrive in collaborative settings and are eager to contribute to a team that is shaping the future of lifelike computers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will architect and implement embedded software for a variety of platforms, ensuring that the firmware is optimized for performance and reliability. You will contribute to hardware design and bring-up processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to define interfaces and develop drivers. Your responsibilities will include debugging and testing embedded systems, as well as continuously improving the firmware development and CI workflow.

You will play a key role in the development of advanced consumer electronics products, collaborating with engineers from diverse backgrounds to bring innovative ideas to life. Your ability to coordinate effectively with a distributed team will be crucial as you work on integrating firmware with hardware components. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of best practices in embedded systems development.
