Relativity is hiring a Director of Supplier Industrialization Engineering to lead the quality team in embedding quality into the design and production processes for the Terran R vehicle. Who you are

You have a proven track record in engineering leadership, particularly in industrialization and quality assurance processes. Your experience spans over 10 years in aerospace or manufacturing environments, where you've successfully led teams to achieve high-quality standards in complex projects. You possess strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of the engineering lifecycle, from design to production. Your ability to collaborate across various teams ensures that quality is embedded at every stage of the process. You are passionate about innovation and are eager to contribute to groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of technology.

Desirable

Experience in rocket manufacturing or aerospace engineering is a plus. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques and quality management systems will set you apart. You thrive in environments that require both technical rigor and creative problem-solving, and you are comfortable navigating the challenges of a fast-paced industry.

What you'll do

As the Director of Supplier Industrialization Engineering, you will lead the quality team in ensuring that quality is integrated into every aspect of the design and production process for the Terran R vehicle. You will work closely with design, manufacturing, test, and launch teams to influence how products are built from the ground up. Your role will involve developing and implementing quality assurance strategies that align with the company's goals for innovation and efficiency. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential quality issues early in the design phase and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
