What you'll do

As a Staff Avionics Manufacturing Engineer at Relativity, you will lead the avionics team in the development of the Terran R rocket's nervous system — this includes designing, building, testing, and operating the hardware that connects and controls every major electrical system on the vehicle and ground. You will collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to ensure that the avionics systems integrate seamlessly with other components of the rocket. Your role will involve overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring that all avionics hardware is produced to the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the manufacturing and testing phases. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R program, helping to deliver customer payloads to orbit and advance the future of space exploration.
