What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing tooling and fixtures that support the production of the Terran R rocket. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers and production teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective design solutions. Your role will involve creating detailed CAD models and drawings, ensuring that all designs adhere to industry standards and best practices. You will also participate in design reviews, providing feedback and suggestions to improve product designs and manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will work on optimizing existing tools and fixtures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes that enhance performance and efficiency.

You will have the opportunity to lead projects from concept through to production, ensuring that all designs are feasible and meet production timelines. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R program, as you help to streamline manufacturing processes and improve overall production capabilities.
