Who you are

You have 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, demonstrating your ability to tackle complex technical challenges independently in a fast-paced environment. Your deep familiarity with modern web development, including frontend technologies, databases, and networking, equips you to contribute effectively to our team. You possess a fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, understanding how the web operates at a fundamental level. Your attention to detail is exceptional, bordering on the extreme, ensuring that your work is of the highest quality. You have great verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include fluency in SQL and experience working with the T3 stack and TanStack libraries, as well as familiarity with public cloud infrastructure like Vercel and AWS.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Remi, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our core software products that support the world’s first three-sided roofing marketplace. Your work will involve shipping features, automations, and integrations using TypeScript and Next.js, ensuring that our products are both functional and user-friendly. You will solve complex bugs that span across our proprietary roofing stack, investing in platform-wide changes to enhance security, reliability, and performance. Collaboration is key in this role; you will lead and work alongside highly intelligent teammates to tackle difficult technical problems. You will also partner with product managers and designers to deliver on an ambitious roadmap, contributing to the overall success of our innovative solutions in the roofing industry.
