Who you are

You have 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, demonstrating your ability to tackle complex and ambiguous technical problems independently in a fast-paced work environment. You possess a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent software development experience. Your deep familiarity with modern web development encompasses frontend, databases, and networking, allowing you to contribute effectively across various aspects of the software stack. You have a fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and understand how the web operates. Your attention to detail is exceptional, bordering on the extreme, ensuring high-quality outputs in your work. You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, which helps you collaborate with teammates and stakeholders.

Desirable

Fluency in SQL is a plus, as is experience working with the T3 stack and the TanStack libraries. Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure such as Vercel and AWS will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Remi, you will build and maintain our core software products that support the world’s first three-sided roofing marketplace. Your responsibilities will include shipping features, automations, and integrations using TypeScript and Next.js. You will solve complex bugs that span across our proprietary roofing stack, ensuring a seamless experience for users. Investing in platform-wide changes to enhance the security, reliability, and performance of our diverse services will be a key part of your role. You will lead and collaborate with highly intelligent teammates to tackle difficult technical problems, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Partnering with product managers and designers, you will help deliver on an ambitious roadmap that drives the company forward.
