Your advanced knowledge of developer tools allows you to create user-friendly interfaces that resonate with both technical and non-technical users. You possess a strong ability to drive work forward, ensuring that the experiences you design are not only functional but also delightful for users. Your extreme ownership mentality means you take full responsibility for your projects, from initial concept through to final implementation.

You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, to gather requirements and sequence projects effectively. Your experience in conducting user interviews and concept testing enables you to validate ideas and iterate on designs based on real user feedback. You thrive in environments where you can lead design workshops, particularly focusing on integrating AI features into existing platforms, and you are passionate about enhancing design systems to improve overall user experience.

Desirable

Experience with AI-native interfaces and a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes would be a plus. Familiarity with design systems and the ability to contribute to and enhance them is highly desirable.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive product design from concept to delivery, creating sketches, user flows, prototypes, and final implementations that align with Replit's mission of democratizing software development. You will test and validate your ideas through user interviews and prototypes, ensuring that your designs meet user needs effectively. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to identify successful design approaches and high-impact opportunities for B2B growth.

You will lead design workshops focused on AI feature integration across the Replit platform, contributing to the evolution of Replit's Design System (Replit UI). Your insights will help uncover new user needs and product opportunities, allowing you to shape the future of software creation tools. You will have the unique opportunity to influence the design of AI features that enhance user interaction and engagement, making programming more accessible to a wider audience.
