You have extensive experience in product design, particularly in SaaS environments, and a proven track record of leading design initiatives that enhance user experiences. Your ability to blend design excellence with customer empathy allows you to create innovative solutions that resonate with users. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with product and engineering teams to drive strategic design projects from concept to delivery.
Your expertise in design tools, especially Figma, enables you to execute high-quality designs that prioritize usability and craftsmanship. You understand the importance of simplifying complex workflows and are adept at identifying opportunities for improvement within existing products. Your background in AI-powered tools or interfaces is a plus, as it aligns with the innovative spirit of Dropbox.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of key design-led projects, collaborating with the Design Director to define high-level opportunities that can transform user experiences. You will lead strategic initiatives aimed at simplifying the Teams experience, ensuring that all designs are executed to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include problem definition, where you will bring clarity and insight to design challenges, and execution, where you will work with the broader design organization to ensure that your vision is realized.
You will also focus on driving collaboration across distributed teams, ensuring that your designs meet the needs of users across different time zones. Your ability to scale onboarding and pricing flows will be crucial in enhancing the self-serve experience for Dropbox users. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to sweat the right strategic details, ensuring that your designs not only meet user needs but also align with business objectives.
