Ritual is seeking a Controller to oversee financial operations as they scale. You'll manage accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions across fiat and crypto assets. This role requires strong financial management skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Who you are
You have a strong background in financial management, with experience overseeing accounting and financial reporting functions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable navigating ambiguity as you help shape the financial foundation of a next-generation technology company.
You possess a hands-on approach to managing financial operations, ensuring robust internal controls over both fiat and digital assets. Your experience includes coordinating with external accounting and tax partners to maintain compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of treasury management, including handling crypto and fiat holdings, stablecoin liquidity, and vendor payments. You are adept at monitoring and reporting on financial positions, cash runway, and budget-to-actual performance for management and investors.
What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee all financial operations, serving as the internal owner for accounting, treasury, and financial reporting. You will coordinate execution with external accounting and tax partners to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial documentation.
You will maintain robust internal controls over fiat and digital assets, ensuring proper reconciliation, documentation, and authorization processes are in place. Your responsibilities will include managing the company treasury, monitoring cash flow, and reporting financial positions to the leadership team.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing financial systems and processes that support the company's growth and operational efficiency. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the founders and leadership team to align financial strategies with the company's objectives.
