You have 5+ years of experience in risk management or compliance, with a strong understanding of governance frameworks and internal controls. Your background includes working collaboratively with teams to assess and enhance compliance practices, ensuring organizations meet regulatory requirements. You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to identify key compliance risks and develop tailored solutions. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, providing guidance and support to junior team members while also being open to receiving feedback and coaching from senior colleagues.
Desirable
Experience with SOX readiness and internal audit processes is a plus. Familiarity with IT and cybersecurity risk assessments will set you apart. You are proactive in your approach, always looking for ways to improve processes and enhance risk management strategies.
What you'll do
As a Senior Associate in Riveron's Risk Advisory group, you will work closely with senior team members to assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). Your role will involve developing and executing remediation roadmaps to address identified risks. You will perform ICFR risk assessments, collaborating with clients to understand their specific needs and create tailored solutions. Additionally, you will participate in managed internal controls testing and monitoring, ensuring that organizations maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Your hands-on approach will help clients navigate the complexities of risk management, providing them with the tools and insights needed to succeed in a constantly evolving environment.
