5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale — you've owned services from design through deployment and have navigated complex issues related to payment processing and transaction management. You have a strong product mindset and thrive in environments where you can influence both technical and business stakeholders.

Deep expertise in Java and experience with payment processing systems — you've integrated third-party processors like Stripe or PayPal and understand the intricacies of handling transactions, including subscription renewals and fraud prevention. Your technical skills are complemented by a keen understanding of user experience and operational efficiency.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams — your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders ensures that projects run smoothly and meet business objectives. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with microservices architecture. You are always looking to improve your skills and stay updated with the latest technologies in backend development.
