You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with a strong background in building and managing scalable infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes allows you to design systems that are both reliable and efficient. You are proficient in scripting languages such as Python and have a solid understanding of Linux systems, which enables you to automate processes and troubleshoot issues effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices ensures that you can streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability. You are also familiar with monitoring and alerting tools, which help you maintain system performance and availability.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Roku, you will play a crucial role in the Ads Business Automation team, where you will contribute to the development of full-stack web applications and APIs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that support the advertising platform, ensuring that systems are scalable and resilient. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure challenges, enabling the team to focus on delivering a best-in-class user experience.

You will actively participate in the development of CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Your expertise in Docker and Kubernetes will be essential as you manage containerized applications and orchestrate their deployment across various environments. Additionally, you will monitor system performance and implement best practices for security and cost optimization, ensuring that the infrastructure remains robust and cost-effective.
