Who you are

You have 4 to 6 years of experience in DevOps engineering and administration, with a strong technical background in designing and building AWS cloud infrastructure. You possess extensive experience in managing AWS security groups, IAM roles, Elastic Load Balancers, and Cloud Formation, ensuring that security practices are top-notch. Your knowledge of networking concepts such as VPN, AWS VPC, and DNS allows you to troubleshoot network issues effectively. You have hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, Vault, and Istio, which are crucial for maintaining a robust infrastructure.

You understand the importance of observability and reliability in systems, and you have experience managing monitoring and alerting infrastructure using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Your familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code enables you to automate the provisioning and management of the Moveworks application stack across different environments. You are also well-versed in disaster recovery processes and security areas, including data backup and recovery, replication, and AWS KMS.

What you'll do

In this role, you will closely collaborate with platform, machine learning, search, data, and frontend teams to understand their DevOps and infrastructure needs. You will influence the DevOps roadmap and lead various projects to enhance the infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and manage the Moveworks multi-tenant AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, observability, resilience, and cost optimization.

You will own all Kubernetes clusters and service deployments, improving the observability and reliability of Moveworks systems by managing monitoring and alerting infrastructure. Additionally, you will build and manage CI/CD pipelines with infrastructure as code and full automation to provision and manage the application stack across different environments. You will also design and manage networking infrastructure with best-in-class security practices at multiple Moveworks office sites, working closely with the security team to enhance the privacy and security posture of the infrastructure.
