Rover.com is seeking a European Trust and Safety Manager to ensure the safety of pet parents and caregivers. You'll be responsible for coaching and scaling a multi-tier Trust and Safety organization. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions.

You have a strong background in managing safety and trust operations, ideally within a tech or service-oriented environment. Your experience includes developing and implementing safety protocols that ensure user satisfaction and security. You are adept at coaching teams and fostering a culture of safety and trust among users. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively resolve conflicts and address user concerns. You are comfortable making difficult trade-offs and can prioritize critical issues effectively. Your ability to work outside of normal business hours demonstrates your commitment to ensuring user safety at all times. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about creating a safe community for pet owners and caregivers.
What you'll do
As the European Trust and Safety Manager at Rover.com, you will lead initiatives to enhance the safety and trust of our platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols that protect both pet parents and caregivers. Your role will involve coaching and mentoring a team dedicated to trust and safety, ensuring they are equipped to handle user inquiries and concerns effectively. You will analyze safety incidents and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will work to enhance the user experience while maintaining a secure environment. You will also be involved in creating educational materials for users to promote best practices in pet care and safety. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling our Trust and Safety organization to meet the growing needs of our community.
