You have a proven track record in civil engineering, particularly in the data center or industrial construction sectors — your experience includes both design and field-level support for complex projects. You possess excellent strategic thinking skills and a customer service orientation, enabling you to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and project outcomes. Your organizational and communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality results.
Desirable
Experience in sustainability practices within civil engineering projects is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest technologies and methodologies in data center design. A background in managing cross-functional teams will also enhance your candidacy, as collaboration is key in this role.
What you'll do
As the Design Manager, you will lead the civil engineering efforts for Rowan's data center projects, ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of performance and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with project managers and other technical teams to support site origination through facility operations. Your role will involve overseeing the design process, providing technical guidance, and ensuring that all engineering solutions align with the company's strategic goals.
