You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in enterprise environments, where you've successfully managed large accounts and complex negotiations. Your ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions is key to your success. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results. You are passionate about technology and its potential to transform industries, particularly in the realm of physical operations.
Desirable
Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise software solutions. You have a strong understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing, and are adept at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
What you'll do
As a Core Account Executive at Samsara, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory. You will engage with enterprise customers to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Samsara's Connected Operationsβ’ Cloud can help them improve efficiency and sustainability. You will lead the sales process from initial contact through to contract negotiation, ensuring that you address all customer concerns and requirements along the way. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, managing proof of concepts, and collaborating with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecasting sales performance. Your ability to navigate complex organizational structures and engage multiple stakeholders will be crucial in closing deals that typically range from $100k to $500k. You will work closely with marketing and customer success teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation, fostering long-term relationships with clients.
