What you'll do

As a Senior Firmware Engineer at Samsara, you will own and evolve the embedded Linux stack that powers our Safety devices. Your primary responsibility will be to drive improvements in system stability, boot performance, and hardware integration across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components. Your role will involve designing and implementing new features, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in the field. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for firmware development within the team.
