Who you are

You have a strong background in CNC programming, with experience in operating mills, lathes, and routers — your understanding of machining processes and quality standards allows you to create high-precision parts that meet rigorous specifications. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure that every part you produce meets the highest standards of quality and precision.

Your attention to detail is unmatched, and you take pride in your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the manufacturing process. You are familiar with military specifications and understand the importance of adhering to strict guidelines in your work. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines.

What you'll do

As a CNC Programmer at Saronic, you will be responsible for programming CNC machines to produce precision parts for our Autonomous Surface Vessels. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand the specifications and requirements for each part, ensuring that your programming aligns with the overall project goals. You will also be involved in the setup and operation of CNC machines, making adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired outcomes.

In addition to programming, you will conduct quality checks on the parts produced, ensuring they meet the required standards. You will document your processes and maintain records of production, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing team. Your role will be critical in supporting the development of innovative solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomy and intelligence.
