Who you are

You have 3+ years of CNC programming experience, particularly with NX CAD/CAM/CAE, and a solid understanding of CNC machining operations. You are comfortable working with complex surfacing, contours, and graphite electrode programming, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with machinists and engineering teams.

You possess a strong knowledge of carbide tools and are adept at adjusting speed and feed parameters to maximize tool life. Your ability to suggest drawing changes to improve manufacturability showcases your proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

What you'll do

As a CNC Programmer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for programming CNC parts using NX CAD/CAM/CAE software. You will also be tasked with Vericut NC files and maintaining revision control on programs and setup sheets. Your role will involve machine setup and operation, ensuring that production goals are met while keeping products moving efficiently.

You will collaborate with machinists and engineering teams to optimize machining programs and procedures, providing consistent ideas for process improvements. Your contributions will directly support the Starlink product, emphasizing tool and die applications.
