You are an ambitious and collaborative Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist with a strong commitment to supporting maritime operations. You have experience in developing and implementing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety and learning within operational teams. Your background allows you to effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams responsible for designing and building medium to large vessels.
You understand the importance of regulatory compliance and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks in a shipyard environment. Your ability to engage with multiple operational teams demonstrates your strong interpersonal skills and your dedication to promoting a culture of operational excellence. What you'll do
In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and management of critical EHS programs tailored to the unique needs of the shipyard. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to and that employees are trained effectively on EHS practices. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and safety training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
