Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in PCB schematic and layout design. With at least 5 years of experience in the field, you have a proven track record of taking projects from concept through production, particularly in high-reliability systems for demanding environments. Your expertise in Altium Designer and Embedded Linux allows you to create innovative solutions that meet stringent industry standards.
You have a collaborative spirit and enjoy working cross-functionally with firmware/software, mechanical, and manufacturing/quality teams. Your experience in industries such as defense, aerospace, automotive, or marine makes you a valuable asset to our engineering team. You are detail-oriented and thrive in environments where precision and reliability are paramount.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the design process for printed circuit boards, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and standards. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to validate and deliver electronic solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms. Your responsibilities will include designing, validating, and testing PCB layouts, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during the production process.
You will also be involved in cross-functional meetings to discuss project progress and address any challenges that may arise. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members from various disciplines will be crucial in ensuring that projects stay on track and meet deadlines. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team.
