You have significant experience in commercial contract negotiation, ideally with a focus on supply chain and technology sectors. Your background includes working within the defense industry, where you have developed a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements involved in government contracting. You possess exceptional judgment and are skilled at partnering effectively across various departments, including engineering, operations, and business development. Your proactive and solutions-oriented mindset enables you to navigate complex legal landscapes while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Desirable
Experience with both software and hardware development considerations is a plus, as is familiarity with procurement-related contracting processes. You are adept at standardizing procedures and have a track record of strengthening supplier partnerships through effective legal frameworks. Your ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders is essential for success in this role.
What you'll do
As the Commercial Contracts Counsel at Saronic, you will serve as the primary legal advisor for all supply-chain-related contracting matters. Your responsibilities will include reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements that support the development, manufacturing, and sustainment of autonomous naval platforms. You will play a central role in standardizing procurement-related contracting processes, ensuring alignment with government contracting requirements, and mitigating supply chain risks. Your expertise will help shape the company’s commercial contracting posture and strengthen supplier partnerships.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business development teams to ensure that all contracts align with the company’s strategic goals and operational needs.
