Saronic Technologies is hiring a Director of Program Operations to lead the execution of Autonomous Surface Vessel programs. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement operational models. This role requires strong leadership and program management experience.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in program operations, ideally within the technology or maritime sectors — you've successfully built and scaled operational systems that enhance program execution and reliability. Your leadership skills shine as you guide teams of analysts, schedulers, and service delivery professionals, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to excel in their roles. You are hands-on in your approach, embedding yourself into programs and customer engagements to provide surge support and stabilize execution when necessary.

You possess a strategic mindset, capable of designing and institutionalizing program operating models that alleviate execution risks and manage demand spikes effectively. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional executives across Engineering, Product, Production, and Growth is a key strength, allowing you to align operational strategies with broader organizational goals. You thrive in dynamic environments and are adept at navigating ambiguity, ensuring that your teams remain focused and productive.

What you'll do

As the Director of Program Operations, you will lead the Programs organization at Saronic Technologies, focusing on the execution of Autonomous Surface Vessel programs. You will be responsible for building and scaling systems and processes that enable reliable execution across a growing portfolio of projects. Your role will involve designing operational models that enhance efficiency and reduce risks associated with program execution. You will work closely with the VP of Programs and Program Directors to ensure alignment on strategic directions and operational priorities.

You will also engage directly with customers and partners, providing ad-hoc support to stabilize execution during critical phases. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment where teams can thrive and deliver exceptional results. You will be expected to monitor program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that drive operational excellence.
