Seven Starling is hiring a Director of People Operations to build and scale the People function from the ground up. You'll manage both corporate and clinical workforces, focusing on compensation strategy and compliance. This role requires 7-10 years of experience in people operations, including managerial experience in a digital health company.

Who you are
You have 7-10 years of experience in people operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Your background includes working at a Series A/B digital health company, where you managed large teams of both full-time employees and contracted providers. You're a builder-operator who thrives in dynamic environments, comfortable with both designing frameworks and implementing automation workflows in HR systems. Your expertise in blended workforce models and multi-state compliance sets you apart as a leader in this field.
You possess strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, allowing you to develop compensation strategies that align with organizational goals. Your experience has equipped you with the ability to navigate complex compliance issues across multiple states, ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant regulations. You are passionate about enhancing employee experience and fostering a positive workplace culture, understanding that these elements are crucial for attracting and retaining top talent.
What you'll do
As the Director of People Operations, you will be responsible for building and scaling the People function from the ground up. This includes developing and implementing compensation strategies that are competitive and equitable, ensuring that all employees feel valued and motivated. You will also oversee compliance across multiple states, working closely with legal and HR teams to ensure that all practices meet regulatory standards.
You will manage both the corporate workforce of over 50 full-time employees and a clinical workforce of more than 250 providers, designing tools and systems that support the entire organization. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to enhance employee experience, streamline HR processes, and implement best practices in talent management. You will also play a key role in shaping the organizational culture, promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives, and ensuring that all employees have access to the resources they need to succeed.
