Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly motivated Structures Test Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering. You have experience designing and testing complex mechanical structures and fluid systems, particularly in dynamic environments. Your hands-on approach allows you to effectively contribute to the development and deployment of autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) for Department of Defense applications.
You possess a solid understanding of structural development efforts, from component testing to full-scale system validation. Your ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team is essential, as you will support various structural development initiatives critical to enabling autonomy in naval operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing mechanical structures that support full-scale and sub-scale vessel test campaigns. You will engage in hands-on testing and validation processes, ensuring that the structures meet the rigorous demands of real-world maritime environments.
