Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in native iOS engineering, showcasing your proficiency in Swift and Objective-C. Your background includes a solid understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns, such as MVC and MVVM, which allows you to create scalable and maintainable applications. You are detail-oriented and passionate about user experience, always striving to optimize performance for mobile devices and ensure smooth operation and responsiveness.

You enjoy collaborating with teammates, taking ownership of the mobile stack, and integrating new technologies into existing codebases. Your experience includes working with network protocols like MQTT and WSS, and you have published mobile apps that demonstrate your ability to deliver high-quality products. You value collaboration and are comfortable with test-driven development, regularly refactoring code to maintain a healthy codebase.

Desirable

While not required, knowledge of supporting tools like Figma and Postman is a plus. Familiarity with 3D graphics pipelines and experience working with Unity3D or Unreal Engine will set you apart. Additionally, understanding real-time video delivery frameworks like WebRTC will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior iOS Engineer at Sauron, you will architect and write both Swift and Objective-C code for innovative mobile interfaces that delight users. You will work closely with designers and AI engineers to continuously improve the user experience, ensuring that the applications you develop are not only functional but also visually appealing. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining the mobile application, utilizing SwiftUI to bridge interactivity with its 3D counterparts.

You will take ownership of the mobile stack, jumping into new technologies and integrating them into the existing codebase. Your role will involve optimizing performance for mobile devices, ensuring smooth operation and responsiveness. You will also engage in pair programming and teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
