You have 5+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong command of Swift and a passion for creating engaging user experiences. Your background includes working on consumer-facing applications, and you understand the nuances of building for both end-users and business partners. You thrive in collaborative environments, often partnering with product and design teams to iterate on features and deliver high-quality work. Mentoring junior engineers is something you enjoy, as you believe in fostering a culture of learning and growth within your team. You are proactive in setting technical direction and enjoy the challenge of shaping the engineering culture in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
Experience with B2B applications or sponsored content is a plus, as is familiarity with analytics tools to measure user engagement and product performance. A background in fitness or health-related applications would be beneficial, as it aligns with Strava's mission to motivate active lifestyles.
What you'll do
As a Senior iOS Engineer at Strava, you will be responsible for developing new and creative products that appeal to both Stravaβs end-users and B2B partners. You will continuously enhance the Challenges product to drive consumer and B2B growth, ensuring that the features you build are both innovative and user-friendly. You will partner deeply with product and design teams to shape features through iteration and experimentation, shipping high-quality work through continuous refinement. Your role will also involve setting the technical direction for iOS within the B2B space, helping to shape the teamβs culture and practices. You will participate in architecture reviews, pair programming sessions, and code reviews with your peers, contributing to a collaborative and supportive engineering environment. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
