You possess a deep understanding of data architectures, particularly object-store-based systems, and are familiar with table formats such as Apache Iceberg — your expertise enables large-scale analytics, versioning, and schema evolution. You are driven by execution and autonomy, able to navigate complex problems and communicate your decisions clearly across the organization.

What you'll do

As a Distinguished Engineer, you will be an integral member of a small, high-performance team responsible for scaling Saviynt's infrastructure — you will lead efforts in compute, data storage, and network architecture, ensuring that the systems you design deliver value to customers. You will be accountable for the results of your decisions and will work closely with engineers to foster an environment of collaboration and innovation.

You will focus on long-term solutions while delivering value in the short term, avoiding technical debt and unnecessary complications — your role will involve mentoring engineers, guiding them in their professional development, and helping them build upon the systems you design. You will also be responsible for writing design documents and code, ensuring that your team's work aligns with the company's strategic goals.
