Who you are

You have a strong understanding of support operations and are familiar with Zendesk — you enjoy optimizing workflows and ensuring that support teams can operate efficiently. You thrive in environments where you can make tools work smarter for people, and you have a keen eye for detail that helps you identify areas for improvement. You are comfortable working in a remote setting and can manage your time effectively in a part-time role.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can think critically about processes — you understand how to design and maintain systems that enhance productivity. Your experience with ticketing systems or customer support tools will be beneficial as you work to streamline operations. You are a proactive communicator, able to collaborate with team members to ensure that everyone is aligned on priorities and processes.

What you'll do

As a Support Operations Specialist at Scandit, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the Zendesk setup for the support team. Your main goal will be to ensure that the support team has a well-structured and automated workspace, allowing for efficient ticket management. You will design, maintain, and refine Zendesk views, macros, routing rules, SLAs, and triggers to support clear prioritization for Support Engineers. Regularly reviewing ticket queues and key support metrics will be part of your routine, helping you identify areas for improvement and ensuring that tickets are always in the right queue or status.

You will set up and adjust automations to reduce manual checking, ensuring that the right tickets surface at the right time. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of the support team, allowing them to focus on providing excellent service to customers. You will also collaborate with other team members to gather feedback and continuously improve workflows, making sure that the support operations are as effective as possible.
