Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. With 1-3 years of relevant work experience, you possess strong programming skills in Python and SQL, which you have used to design, schedule, and monitor ETL pipelines. Your analytical thinking and attention to detail enable you to communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders. You have an interest or experience in capital markets or finance, which adds depth to your analytical capabilities.
What you'll do
As a Data Analyst at Schonfeld, you will assist in developing the infrastructure and processes necessary for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to stakeholders across the fund. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance the data used for reporting, ensuring its quality and relevance. Your role will involve performing ad-hoc deep-dive analyses to explain data anomalies and reconcile upstream feeds, suggesting durable fixes where necessary. You will create data-quality monitoring and alerting systems, documenting lineage and runbooks for the team. Additionally, you will produce and validate systematic reports that are vital for decision-making across the fund.
