Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in engineering management, leading high-performing teams and driving technical excellence. You understand the importance of building a strong engineering culture and are adept at mentoring and coaching engineers to reach their full potential. Your background includes working with full-stack technologies, and you are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges while fostering collaboration across teams.
You have a solid understanding of modern web technologies, particularly React and Next.js, and have experience with backend frameworks like Django. Your familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and cloud services like AWS enables you to architect scalable solutions that meet business needs. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies, especially in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
You thrive in environments that require strategic thinking and execution. You are skilled at defining and executing technical visions that align with product goals, ensuring that your team consistently delivers high-quality products. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you enjoy collaborating with product and design teams to solve critical problems.
Desirable
Experience with AI-driven products or large language models (LLMs) is a plus, as is a background in scaling engineering teams in fast-growing companies. What you'll do
As a Senior Engineering Manager at Scribe, you will lead a full-stack engineering team responsible for building and scaling an innovative AI-driven product. You will work closely with product, design, and business leaders to align engineering efforts with company strategy and customer needs.
You will be responsible for driving execution, ensuring that your team consistently ships high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. You will raise the bar for technical excellence by fostering a culture of rapid iteration and continuous improvement, encouraging your team to embrace new technologies and methodologies.
In addition to technical leadership, you will play a key role in hiring and developing a diverse team of engineers. You will conduct regular one-on-ones, provide constructive feedback, and support your team members in their professional growth. Your leadership will help shape Scribe's engineering culture, making it a place where innovation thrives and employees feel valued.
